Training and education of national boxing referees in 2025

The training course was attended by 35 trainees who are referees, coaches, and athletes from provinces and cities, including: Binh Duong, Khanh Hoa, Dak Nong, Hung Yen, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau, An Giang, Nam Dinh, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, host Dak Lak and the Army.

From now until April 15, students will be informed of the Party's viewpoints and guidelines, the State's policies and laws on boxing activities in Vietnam and internationally; study and understand the International Amateur Boxing Competition (IBA) Law, refereeing and judging methods, and how to organize boxing competitions.

During the training period, trainees will participate in managing matches at the 2025 National Boxing Championship for strong teams so that the Organizing Committee can check, evaluate the results and issue Certificates to trainees who meet the requirements of the training content and program according to regulations.

According to Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung, Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Boxing Federation, the national boxing referee training course in 2025 is very important, because after being equipped with knowledge, improving capacity and professional qualifications, the team of coaches and referees will be the scouts, observers, discoverers, and accurately introduce talented factors to the national team to train, coach, and compete in international and regional tournaments.

It is known that boxing is a potential sport that Vietnam's high-performance sports have identified as a key investment, aiming to win medals at the Olympic arena.
