Based on the submissions of the localities and the results of the appraisal and assessment of the departments, branches and sectors, the Council conducted a vote. As a result, 5 communes met the advanced NTM standards, including: Song Trau (Trang Bom district); Phu Thinh, Dak Lua, Nam Cat Tien (Tan Phu district) and Thanh Phu commune (Vinh Cuu district). Including these 5 communes, the whole province currently has 111/116 communes meeting the advanced NTM standards.
According to the assessment of the Council members, the impressive point in the communes submitting documents and voting for the Advanced New Rural Area Program this time is that they all achieved outstanding results in investing in technical infrastructure works: rural roads, educational and medical facilities; changing the crop structure towards investing in crops with high economic efficiency...
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hoang, Chairwoman of the Council, requested localities to focus on implementing the criteria well, especially the environmental criteria: building bright, green, clean and beautiful landscapes; classifying waste at source. At the same time, she requested departments and branches to proactively coordinate with the above 5 communes to guide and promptly propose solutions to remove obstacles and difficulties to complete the application for recognition as an advanced NTM commune in 2024.
