Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Member of Vietcombank's Board of Directors, holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Members of CB.

In addition, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung still holds the position of Member of the Board of Directors of Vietcombank.

Mr. Hung was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Members of CB to replace Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, who was previously assigned by Vietcombank to hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Members of CB. After resigning from the position of Chairman of CB, Mr. Tuan was appointed as Deputy General Director of Vietcombank from January 16.

Along with the appointment of Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Vietcombank also announced decisions on secondment and appointment of CB leadership.

Specifically, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Director of Vietcombank Thai Nguyen - was seconded to work at CB and appointed to the position of member of the Board of Members and General Director of CB from January 16.

Assign Mr. Hoang Bac - Deputy Head of Credit Approval Department, TSC Vietcombank - to work at CB and appoint him to the position of Deputy General Director of CB.

Assign Ms. Dang Thi Van Hoa - Deputy Head of TSC Vietcombank Branch Channel Management Department - to work at CB and appoint her to the position of Deputy General Director of CB.

Assigned Ms. Nguyen Minh Huong - Deputy Director of Vietcombank Dong Anh - to work at CB and appointed her to the position of Deputy General Director of CB.

Assign Mr. Nguyen Thanh Do - Head of TSC Vietcombank Debt Department - to work at CB and appoint him as Head of CB Control Board from January 16.

Seconded Mr. Vu Khac Truong - Deputy Head of Retail Banking Policy Department, TSC Vietcombank - to work at CB and appointed him as a member of the CB Supervisory Board from January 16.

Assigned Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Phuong - Deputy Head of Credit Risk Management Department, TSC Vietcombank - to work at CB and appointed her as a member of the CB Supervisory Board from January 16.

Assigned Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung - Deputy Director of Vietcombank Tay Ha Noi - to work at CB and appointed him as a member of the CB Supervisory Board from January 16.

CB Bank will be officially transferred to Vietcombank according to the decision of the State Bank from October 17, 2024.

Recently, the State Bank also completed the mandatory transfer of two weak banks, DongA Bank to HDBank and GPBank to VPBank.

Thus, four weak banks including CB, MBV, DongA Bank, and GPBank have been compulsorily transferred to a bank with sufficient capacity and experience. Currently, SCB Bank is under special control and is undergoing restructuring. The State Bank is also actively taking the necessary steps to be able to compulsorily transfer SCB.
