'Vietnam has all the elements needed to succeed in AI'

Speaking to the media, Dr. Andrew Ng - Top 100 most influential people in the world on AI (according to Time magazine) expressed optimism about the future of artificial intelligence development in Vietnam. Mr. Andrew Ng commented that the education system is a strong point of Vietnam, besides the current demographic shift trend, along with the excitement in the AI ​​sector, is helping the S-shaped country in Southeast Asia become an attractive destination for intellectual investment in many fields.

"Vietnam has all the necessary pieces to become successful in AI," the founder of Landing AI shared with the press on the sidelines of the FPT Tech Day 2023 event held in Hanoi on the morning of October 24. According to him, the AI ​​market has enough opportunities for everyone, from famous businesses to startups, and AI applications will be even more successful and popular in the future, bringing more revenue to businesses.

Dr. Andrew Ng also believes that in just a few years, the AI ​​revolution will bring great results, having an impact on changing the way people live and work. "Therefore, the future of artificial intelligence development in Vietnam will be very open. Vietnam is a potential AI investment destination," he emphasized.

To move forward in this field, Mr. Andrew Ng believes that it is important to continue investing in education. Realizing the market potential and high-quality human resources in Vietnam, Landing AI is considering establishing a domestic engineering training center to develop the Asia-Pacific market. In addition, the unit is also cooperating with FPT Education to develop a comprehensive AI curriculum for students from grades 1 to 12. The entire program will be compiled by Dr. Andrew Ng and his colleagues.
