Da Nang launches pickleball training to prepare for the tournament of the entire education and training sector

On April 12, information from the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City said that it had just sent an official dispatch to the Department of Education and Training of districts, schools and centers under the Department of Education and Training regarding the implementation of pickleball training.

Specifically, based on the proposal of the Da Nang City Pickleball Federation on coordinating the implementation of pickleball in the education and training sector and the proposals of units and schools on the implementation of pickleball, the Director of the Department of Education and Training requested heads of units and schools to launch a movement to practice and compete in pickleball to all cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and students of units and schools in the area.

At the same time, collect and synthesize data at primary and secondary schools, schools and centers under the Department of Education and Training to have a basis for proposing to the Da Nang City Pickleball Federation to support rackets, balls and professional training sessions.

The Department of Education and Training also said that in August, the unit plans to coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Da Nang City Pickleball Federation to organize a pickleball tournament for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers in the entireeducation sector.

"Therefore, to prepare for the tournament, it is recommended that units and schools, based on their actual conditions, study the construction of training grounds or renovate existing sports grounds to add pickleball practice functions according to needs and ensure regulations (not changing the current status and structure of the grounds, not affecting the organization of physical education teaching according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training)", the official dispatch of the Department of Education and Training clearly stated.

Previously, on March 15, at the Congress to establish the Da Nang City Pickleball Federation, delegates elected the Executive Committee of the Da Nang City Pickleball Federation, term 1 (term 2025 - 2030), consisting of 27 members. The Executive Committee also held its first meeting, electing Mr. Tran Phuoc Son, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Council, as Chairman of the Da Nang City Pickleball Federation, term 1.
