Phuong My Chi and her team are organizing a school tour across Vietnam with an investment of no less than 10 billion VND. The music nights are completely free, with the aim of serving students.
Phuong My Chi just announced the school tour project Flying Stork Universe . This is a series of music nights by singers at high schools and universities going through 3 big cities: Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City in September and October.
Mr. Phan Anh, the crew representative, revealed that although there are no specific statistics, the organizers estimate the amount to be no less than 10 billion VND. In addition to the sponsor, Phuong My Chi contributed the majority. The female singer did not receive a salary from the company for a long time to save up for the show.
According to Phuong My Chi, the project music The main target audience is students. The female singer is also a student, so she understands that her peers' lives are not too comfortable. Therefore, she wants to do this project to give to everyone, not focusing on commercialism or selling tickets.
“Hearing the above figure, everyone thinks Phuong My Chi is very rich. But in reality, we don’t have that much money. Even though I’m still poor, beautiful memories are important and need to be preserved...”, she shared.
The singer born in 2003 feels lucky to have a good team who always accompanies and supports her in every project. She and her colleagues hope to spread cultural values and national identity to Vietnamese and international audiences, especially young people, through music.
In the show, Phuong My Chi will perform 10 songs from the album. The Stork Universe (released September 2023). She also introduced 4 new compositions in this tour including: Lượm, Buôn Trăng, Con co va mat troi, Rock hat gao . The new songs were composed by the female singer and music producer DTAP.
With her strength in singing Southern folk songs, this time Phuong My Chi will learn to sing Central and Northern folk songs, Chau Van singing and rock music (song). Rock Grain Rice ) to suit audiences in each region.
Recently, the singer has carefully studied the way of singing, enunciating words, and taking breaths to express the characteristics of each region's folk songs, as well as Chau Van.
In addition to Phuong My Chi, the show will also feature artists who are close colleagues of the singer. She asked to keep the identities of the guests confidential and will reveal them one by one in the near future.
The detailed schedule of the tour in 3 regions has been set: Hanoi (September 21, 22), Da Nang (October 5, 6), Ho Chi Minh City (October 19, 20). Each show lasts about 2 hours. The opening show will be held on September 22 at the University of Foreign Languages, Hanoi. Ho Chi Minh City is the final destination because of the large scale of the show, the crew spent 10 months preparing for this tour.
