The forum was jointly organized by the Vietnam Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises (VAFIE), Sunrise Store Technology Co., Ltd. and Camel Exhibition and Trade Promotion Events Co., Ltd., with the support of the Vietnam Automation Association, the Vietnam Association of Mechanical Enterprises, the Vietnam Clean Energy Association and many domestic and international organizations.

According to the report at the Forum, statistics from the Ministry of Finance show that in January 2025 alone, Vietnam attracted 4.33 billion USD of FDI capital, an increase of 48.6% over the same period in 2024. Total import-export turnover last year reached 786.29 billion USD, an increase of more than 6%, showing that Vietnam continues to be an important link in the global supply chain. Key industries are transforming strongly, especially electronics, automobiles, new energy, semiconductors and smart industrial equipment.
In the context of the global restructuring of value chains and trade, Vietnam's active promotion of production model transformation is not only an inevitable trend, but also a vital requirement to increase value, enhance competitiveness and welcome new investment flows. Vietnamese enterprises are facing a big question: How to effectively utilize new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), big data and automation to improve product quality, optimize operations and expand global market share?

Speaking at the opening of the Forum, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Mai, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises (VAFIE), said that in the 2025 socio-economic development plan, Vietnam aims to achieve a growth rate of 8% or higher, creating momentum for a breakthrough in the following years. To achieve this goal, Vietnam is focusing on innovating the growth model based on science and technology, digital transformation, developing a green economy, and a circular economy. Vietnam advocates enhancing competitiveness through innovation, digital transformation, and promoting smart industry development through institutional reform, minimizing administrative procedures, and prioritizing attracting high-quality, high-tech, and widespread FDI capital flows.
According to Mr. Nguyen Mai, this Forum is an opportunity for domestic and foreign enterprises to share their vision, connect for cooperation and exploit the great potential of the Vietnamese market.
