'Second place is also a failure'

"Hanoi FC's goal remains unchanged. Hanoi FC is the representative of Vietnamese football competing in the AFC Champions League.

V-League 2023 was an unsuccessful season for Hanoi FC. The capital team unfortunately missed out on the championship due to a lower secondary index than Hanoi Police Club. In the National Cup, they also failed to reach the final.

Hanoi FC has many changes before entering the 2023/2024 season. The capital team recruited many foreign players, in which striker Joel Tagueu impressed in the first 2 matches in the AFC Champions League. In addition, Pham Xuan Manh and Nguyen Van Hoang are also notable factors who have just joined Hanoi FC.
