Meeting on border work, party work and political work

On the afternoon of March 31, the Provincial Party Committee and Border Guard Command held a Conference on border work, party work, and political work for the first quarter of 2025.

According to the assessment at the conference, in the first quarter of 2025, the Provincial Party Committee and Border Guard Command thoroughly grasped and seriously, resolutely and effectively implemented the leadership resolutions of Party Committees at all levels.

The units in the provincial Border Guard have proactively grasped the situation, closely coordinated with relevant agencies and units to advise local Party committees and authorities to promptly resolve arising incidents, avoiding passive and unexpected situations. At the same time, deploying combat training plans, building a comprehensively strong unit "Exemplary, typical". In particular, 13 officers and soldiers participated in the parade rehearsal to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

In addition, the provincial Border Guard has coordinated with agencies, units and localities to successfully organize activities of the People's Border Day and summarize 10 years of implementing the movement of the People participating in protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security in the new situation. In addition, the units have had many practical social security activities such as presenting 1 Great Solidarity House worth 60 million VND; supporting the elimination of 26 temporary and dilapidated houses with a total amount of 250 million VND for poor and near-poor households, policy families and martyrs' relatives; presenting 10 livelihoods under the Project of Helping a poor household in the coastal border area each week, with a total value of more than 100 million VND.

Concluding the conference, the leaders of the Provincial Border Guard Command highly appreciated the achieved results, and at the same time requested the units to continue to closely follow the tasks, innovate the content, form and methods of work; strictly maintain the regime, order and flexibly and effectively deploy border work as well as party work and political work. In addition, the units need to resolutely implement measures to prevent and combat illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing; strengthen patrols, control and management of fishing vessels entering and leaving ports; coordinate investigation and strictly handle violations. At the same time, prepare well for the work of serving the Inspection Delegation of the European Commission (EC) when working in Binh Dinh in the coming time.
