Developing collective economic models

In recent times, Binh Thuan province has focused on investing a lot of resources, contributing to promoting the development of the province's agricultural sector. However, in reality, there are still many difficulties due to epidemics, climate change, drought, poor soil, and declining aquatic resources. On the other hand, agricultural production is still small and fragmented, and linkage and cooperation in production according to the value chain in agriculture are still limited and not very effective. Therefore, the province's guiding viewpoint is how to develop a modern, sustainable, high-value-added agricultural sector. Organic production associated with linkage in production, processing, consumption according to the value chain and protection of the ecological environment is the key task and solution to develop agriculture into one of the three pillars of the province's economy. In particular, promoting the role of the Farmers' Association in participating in the development of the collective economy in the agricultural sector. Accordingly, the Provincial Farmers' Association has developed an implementation plan in the system of Associations at all levels in the province, and at the same time coordinated with relevant sectors to carry out support and consulting activities to build and develop collective economic models. Associations at all levels in the province also clearly defined the role and tasks of the Association in coordinating the construction and development of collective economy, thereby focusing on promoting propaganda and dissemination to cadres, members and farmers about the meaning, purpose and role of farmers in replicating collective economic models. Grasping the local situation, production and business situation of members and farmers to propagate and guide farmers to participate in collective economy. Up to now, the whole province has more than 187 cooperatives with 48,195 members, operating mainly in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fisheries, trade, services, industry - handicrafts... Reality shows that many cooperatives operate effectively, creating jobs for many local workers. Continue to build collective economic models

To continue implementing Resolution No. 20-NQ/TW, dated June 16, 2022, of the 13th Party Central Committee on continuing to innovate, develop and improve the efficiency of the collective economy in the new period, it is necessary to have the joint efforts of all levels, sectors, localities and farmers of cooperatives. Therefore, in the coming time, Farmers' Associations at all levels in the province will continue to promote propaganda work among members and farmers about the role, position and impact of the collective economic sector on the development of household economy, farm economy and family farms of farmers. Make members and farmers understand that the collective economy, with cooperatives and cooperative groups as the core, is a voluntary, equal, democratic and mutually beneficial organization in which workers, households and businesses voluntarily unite to meet the common economic, social and cultural needs of members. Participate in collective economy to reduce costs and improve economic efficiency of members, thereby mobilizing members and farmers to participate in building and developing collective economic forms suitable for each locality and area. Continue to coordinate with relevant sectors to support and create conditions for cooperatives and cooperatives to access loan sources, receive scientific and technical guidance, and vocational training to meet the needs of members and farmers in developing production and business. Regularly monitor, grasp the situation, coordinate with sectors to guide and support collective economic models to maintain operations and operate effectively. In particular, change the production mindset to develop agricultural economy, mobilize members and farmers to actively participate in developing collective economy in agriculture through activities of branches, associations, and farmers' clubs. Launch the emulation movement "Cadres and members of farmers actively participate in developing collective economy in agriculture". At the same time, organize to honor, reward, summarize, and replicate typical collective economic models in agriculture that were mobilized, guided, and supported by the Farmers' Association. Commend outstanding collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in developing collective economy in agriculture. In addition, review the results of activities, propose specific solutions to support, remove difficulties and obstacles, improve the quality and efficiency of agricultural cooperatives and cooperatives in the province.
