According to statistics, Uong Bi currently has 31 relics of all kinds. Of these, there are 2 relics ranked at the special national level, namely Yen Tu relic and scenic area and Den Cong communal house, 7 relics ranked at the provincial level and 22 relics in the list of classified inventories.
Every year, the city has 8 traditional festivals, typically: Yen Tu Spring Festival, Ba Vang Pagoda Spring Festival, Lac Thanh communal house - pagoda festival, Hang Son temple - pagoda, Cong Temple... Uong Bi also owns many beautiful landscapes associated with unique indigenous culture, such as: Yen Trung Lake, Khe Song - Thac Bac, Phuong Nam river area associated with the specialty of Phuong Nam early ripening lychee, red-fleshed dragon fruit...
In particular, when mentioning Khe Su 1, Khe Su 2, Nam Mau 2 villages (Thuong Yen Cong commune), it is impossible not to mention the hand-woven and embroidered products; the culinary art with the dish of chicken soup and wine of the Dao Thanh Y ethnic group... To increase the attraction and create momentum for tourism, the city is interested in building and proposing to competent authorities effective incentive and promotion policies at destinations to attract tourists during low seasons. Accordingly, the city has issued plans to stimulate and develop tourism every year with many meaningful and attractive cultural and sports activities associated with events and holidays, typically: Traditional festivals at ranked relics; "Uong Bi welcomes summer" program, "Uong Bi Golden Autumn", climbing competition to conquer Binh Huong peak, climbing competition to conquer Ba Tang - Phuong Hoang peak...
In addition, the city also pays attention to human resources, tourism management... as a foundation to promote sustainable tourism. That is the establishment of a Management Board, promulgating specific regulations for each tourist destination, especially for community tourism activities; annually issuing documents to strengthen the management of festivals and tourist destinations to ensure civilized festivals, publicity and transparency... Regarding human resources training, in recent times, Uong Bi has actively coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Tourism... to open over 10 local training courses for nearly 2,000 officials and teams working in tourism and tourism services in the area; sending over 250 officials to attend classes organized by the province.

In particular, in July 2024, the city successfully organized the Scientific Workshop "Identifying, preserving and promoting the heritage values of Uong Bi land in the direction of sustainable development of the city", receiving many opinions from experts and managers on the work of preserving and promoting the values of cultural heritage associated with tourism development.
