Preserve and promote traditional values ​​of festivals

As the locality with the largest number of historical relics in the province, Quang Yen Town annually attracts a large number of tourists and people to participate in festival activities after Tet. - Quang Yen town is considered the land of festivals with many ranked historical and cultural relics, isn't that right, sir?

+ Quang Yen is a locality rich in historical and cultural traditions, currently preserving 219 historical and cultural relics. Of which, the Bach Dang Victory Historical Relic Site includes 11 relic sites (Tran Hung Dao Temple, Vua Ba Temple, Co Ferry, Yen Giang Communal House, Yen Giang Stake Field, Dong Van Muoi Stake Field, Dong Ma Ngua Stake Field, Trung Coc Temple, Trung Ban Communal House (belonging to Quang Yen town) and 2 relic sites of Den Cong communal house, Co Linh - Cay Gieng Temple (in Uong Bi city) are ranked as special national relics; 34 relics are ranked at national level; 15 relics are ranked at provincial level; 3 festivals are recognized as national intangible cultural heritages: Tien Cong Festival, Bach Dang Festival and Xuong Dong Festival.

In addition, there are regional-scale festivals such as: Cau Ngu Festival; Dai Ky Phuc Festivals at 14 communal houses; Village Pagoda Festivals (at 20 pagodas); Family feast ceremonies of 23 Tien Cong family temples (ranked as national relics) along with 70 festivals at relics, temples, shrines, communal houses, family temples... bearing the cultural characteristics of the Northern Delta. These are cultural heritage resources, important internal resources for tourism development.

-   To ensure the organization of the Spring Festival of At Ty 2025 is civilized, healthy and safe, the town has directed   how ?

+   First of all, we direct agencies, units and localities to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement Decree No. 110/2018/ND-CP of the Government regulating the management and organization of festivals; thoroughly grasp, direct and clearly define the roles and responsibilities of Party committees and authorities at all levels in the management and orientation of festival organization to ensure compliance with regulations, promote the role of the people as the main participants in terms of materials, funds and people in the direction of socialization.

Localities with festivals must develop plans, establish organizing committees, and assign tasks to members. In particular, focus on the preparation stages before, during, and after the festival, best preparing the conditions for organizing the festival: Develop plans to ensure security and order, fire prevention, traffic flow, traffic regulation, vehicle parking plans; check the work of ensuring food safety and hygiene, environmental sanitation, and epidemic prevention; ensure the environment for cultural services and tourism services at relics and festival areas; work on festival decoration, propaganda, and promotion of the festival on the media; reception and logistics work to serve people and tourists attending the festival; maintain a hotline number to promptly handle unexpected situations...

In addition, the town coordinates well with the Department of Culture and Sports to proactively report and ask for opinions on the program content and script of the festival, coordinate in inspection work, and correct violations so that the festival is organized thoughtfully, safely, and in accordance with regulations.

- Town   What should be done to continue to maintain and preserve traditional festivals, thereby contributing to promoting cultural heritage values?

+ We always identify that managing and organizing festivals well to develop tourism, contributing to promoting socio-economic development to build and develop the culture and people of Quang Yen to meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable development is the responsibility of the entire political system, requiring the joint participation and contribution of organizations and business communities, especially promoting the role of the people. In which, the people are both the subject and the beneficiary, and play an important role in preserving and promoting the values ​​of cultural heritage and the beauty of the festival.

At the same time, strengthen the propaganda, promotion, and introduction of the values ​​and cultural beauty of the festival to the people and tourists to educate the tradition and preserve the cultural identity. Through organizing festivals to build and promote the image, land, and people of Quang Yen, turn festivals into unique and special tourism products, creating a spreading effect in the community, people, and tourists, contributing to ensuring social security, building a grassroots cultural life, promoting economic development, especially the development of tourism and the service industry of the town, shifting the economic structure towards sustainable development from "brown" to "green".
