Application of new machinery and technology in oil and gas exploitation and processing

Oil and gas is one of the key economic sectors of Vietnam, contributing greatly to GDP and the national budget. However, the oil and gas industry is currently facing many difficulties such as declining oil and gas reserves, high exploitation costs, pressure from environmental regulations and the urgent need to convert energy to renewable sources. In this context, the application of new technology to the operation, production, exploitation and processing of oil and gas plays an important role, helping to improve efficiency and minimize risks.

In order to support oil and gas enterprises to have the opportunity to meet, exchange, cooperate and seek new solutions, promote the development of the industry, from October 23 - 25, 2024, Fireworks Trade Medi in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Mechanical Enterprises (VAMI) organized the OGAV 2024 Exhibition of Industrial Machinery, Equipment and Accessories (Oil & Gas Vietnam Expo OGAV 2024) in Ba Ria - Vung Tau.

The exhibition brings together nearly 50 leading units from many countries, bringing advanced equipment and machinery from leading countries in the world such as Vietnam, Hong Kong (China), Taiwan (China), India, UAE, Italy, Thailand, Russia, USA, Singapore, China... with many diverse products, helping businesses directly access technology solutions to optimize the supply chain, minimize operational risks and improve accuracy in oil and gas exploitation and processing.

In addition, the application of new equipment and machinery also contributes to saving energy, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and complying with increasingly strict environmental protection standards, thereby enhancing the reputation of enterprises on the international map.

Within the framework of the exhibition, the International Conference on Oil and Gas Industry with many topics discussed in the conference such as: STOPAQ anti-corrosion solution to protect important assets and equipment in hard-to-reach areas, anti-corrosion paint solutions for offshore wind power projects, the potential of the renewable energy industry... to create significant advances in technology and processes, thereby promoting strong and sustainable development for the oil and gas industry in the future.

The 2024 Oil and Gas Industry Exhibition (OGAV) not only affirms Vietnam's commitment to developing a modern, efficient and environmentally friendly oil and gas industry, but also opens up many new prospects and opportunities for businesses in the industry. Thereby, facilitating the capacity building of the oil and gas industry - a key economic sector of our country in general and Ba Ria - Vung Tau province in particular.
