Typically, the tasks of registering for high school graduation exams, registering for university admission wishes, paying admission fees, and confirming admission online have been implemented and successful since the first year (2022), with about 1 million candidates participating each year.

In particular, in 2025, according to the new high school graduation exam regulations, independent candidates will be allowed to register for the exam online, which will help the online registration rate to approach 100%. In addition to registering with an account provided on the system of the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates can use their VNeID account to log in (via the National Public Service Portal) and register, thereby increasing convenience and safety for candidates.
The Ministry of Education and Training has also established a Steering Committee and completed phase 1 of the pilot implementation of the digital report card model for primary schools. After the pilot phase 1, the Ministry of Education and Training has determined the technical model in the direction of a centralized database. Currently, the Ministry has provided guidance on the mass implementation of digital report cards for primary schools and on the pilot implementation of digital report cards for secondary, high school and continuing education levels.
In addition, from November 2024 to present, the Ministry of Education and Training has deployed 1 full-process online service on the Ministry's Administrative Procedure Information System. Currently, 68 administrative procedures have been digitized on the Ministry's Administrative Procedure Information System, but there is only 1 full-process online public service.
Speaking at the meeting, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son emphasized that administrative reform, digital transformation and instructions to implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation are the focus of work, receiving special attention from the Central Executive Committee and the Government. This not only meets the implementation of superior instructions but is also an intrinsic requirement to create positive changes in the activities of the education sector, which needs to be exemplary in carrying out the task of training human resources and promoting digital transformation in society.
According to Minister Nguyen Kim Son, some tasks that the education sector needs to focus on in the coming time are arranging and assigning appropriate human resources; reviewing funding, infrastructure, equipment, resources, especially standard databases on law, safety, and security, while adding data fields as required, especially for learners and increasing the use of data; implementing "popular digital education", continuing to implement digital transcripts, digital diplomas, etc.
