Hong Linh Town speeds up construction of infrastructure for industrial clusters

Hong Linh Town (Ha Tinh) is focusing on mobilizing resources, removing difficulties, and speeding up investment in building technical infrastructure for industrial clusters and implemented projects.

On April 11, the Town Party Executive Committee held a conference to evaluate the implementation of political tasks in the first quarter and deploy key tasks in the second quarter of 2023.

In the first quarter of 2023, Hong Linh Town organized extensive political activities to thoroughly implement the 2023 theme of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. The Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations actively mobilized union members, association members and the masses to participate in patriotic emulation movements, building new rural areas and civilized urban areas.

The socio-economic situation in the area has improved compared to the same period. In particular, the total value of industrial and handicraft production is estimated at over 261 billion VND, up 20.1% over the same period; trade and service activities are bustling, total retail sales of goods are estimated at over 578 billion VND, up 13.1% over the same period; spring crop production ensures the crop schedule, the cultivated area is 1,583 hectares, reaching 101% of the plan.

The cultural and social fields are of interest to all levels and sectors in the town; social security activities are implemented promptly, in accordance with policies and for the right subjects.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Thang Long reported on the assessment of the situation and results of task implementation in the first quarter of 2023.

By the end of the first quarter, the local budget revenue reached more than 121 billion VND, equal to 63% of the plan. The locality has attracted 1 project approved by the Provincial People's Committee with a total investment of 83.7 billion VND (residential project TDP 1, Nam Hong ward).

The town has coordinated with investors to complete project documents to establish the Northern Hong Linh Industrial Park and Cong Khanh 3 Industrial Cluster, expand Cong Khanh 2 Industrial Cluster to submit to competent authorities for approval; continue to coordinate with a number of investors to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval of investment policies for projects in the area.

The conference discussed and evaluated the achieved results; at the same time analyzed and clarified the causes of shortcomings and limitations in implementing tasks in the first quarter of 2023; and proposed a number of tasks in the second quarter.

Chairman of Hong Linh Town People's Committee Nguyen Huy Hung: In the coming time, request relevant departments and units to complete the procedures, approve investment projects, and urban renovation works to ensure progress.

In the coming time, Hong Linh Town will continue to focus on leading and directing the implementation of the entire working program of the 7th Party Executive Committee, the Action Program to implement the Resolution of the Town Party Congress, thematic resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee, the Town Party Committee and the Party Committee's work program in 2023 to ensure progress and quality.

Mobilize all resources to build new rural areas, model residential areas, and civilized urban areas; mobilize resources to speed up infrastructure investment in industrial clusters that have been approved for investment; remove difficulties to speed up the progress of projects implemented in the area.

At the same time, organize cultural, artistic and sports activities to celebrate major holidays of the homeland and country; effectively implement the project to propagate and promote spiritual cultural tourism associated with developing tourist tours in the area.
