At the propaganda session, students listened to Major Nguyen Ngoc Vu provide information about traffic safety and order, serious accidents occurring nationwide, especially the number of deaths among school-age children.
According to statistics, the main cause of accidents is traffic safety violations among teenagers, accounting for 8.96% of the total number of traffic accidents nationwide. Of these, more than 737 cases left tragic consequences when the victims were still in school. Therefore, the officials especially emphasized the importance of understanding and complying with traffic safety regulations.
Officers of the Road Traffic Police Team No. 6 interacted with Yen Hoa students to test their understanding of road traffic laws, while also carrying out educational work and disseminating related regulations. The questions that the officers asked cleverly integrated legal knowledge and scientific knowledge in schools to help students quickly grasp lessons on road traffic safety. According to information provided by the officers, the most common violation leading to tragic accidents among school-age students is not wearing helmets when participating in traffic.
At the propaganda session, the school representative affirmed that they will further strengthen propaganda and education measures to ensure compliance with the road traffic law by the school's teachers and staff. At the same time, the officers emphasized that they will closely coordinate with the school in tightening discipline and handling violations.
