On December 27, Vinh Thanh District Youth Union (Binh Dinh) announced that it will award certificates of merit to two students, Phan Thao Mi (class 9A1) and Phan Bao Han (class 6A1), Vinh Hiep Secondary School (Vinh Hiep Commune, Vinh Thanh District) for picking up lost property and returning it to its owner.
Sisters Phan Thao Mi and Phan Bao Han returned property to the person who lost it.
VINH HIEP COMMUNE POLICE
Two students, Phan Thao Mi and Phan Bao Han, are sisters. On the evening of December 21, the two students picked up a wallet that had been dropped on the inter-commune road through Vinh Phuc village (Vinh Hiep commune), containing more than 1.8 million VND.
Afterwards, the two sisters went to Vinh Hiep Commune Police to report the case, hoping to return the wallet and its contents to the owner.
Vinh Hiep commune police quickly identified the wallet as being dropped by Mr. Le Ham (80 years old, in Vinh Phuc village, Vinh Hiep commune).
Receiving back his lost property, Mr. Le Ham expressed his joy and thanked Vinh Hiep Commune Police and the two sisters Phan Thao Mi and Phan Bao Han.
To encourage and spread the image of good people and good deeds in the community, Vinh Hiep Commune Police proposed that Vinh Hiep Commune Union have a form of reward for Thao Mi and Bao Han.
Upon receiving the information, Binh Dinh Provincial Youth Union also proposed Vinh Thanh District Youth Union to reward these two students.
