(CPV) – According to information from Ho Chi Minh City Health Department, the unit has just fined more than 200 million VND and revoked the operating license for 4 months for Saigon Medical Clinic due to a series of violations in medical examination and treatment activities.
On October 10, information from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health Inspectorate said that the unit has just issued a decision to fine Saigon Medical Services Company Limited - Saigon Medical Clinic (153-155 Nguyen Van Cu, Ward 2, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City) for violations in medical examination and treatment activities.
Specifically, Saigon Medical Clinic has committed a series of acts including: Not posting prices for medical examination services, not establishing medical examination and treatment numbers according to the provisions of law, not ensuring one of the following conditions after being granted a license to operate medical examination and treatment for the form of organization as a general clinic.
Not only that, Saigon Medical Clinic also provides medical examination and treatment services beyond the scope of expertise stated in the medical examination and treatment license (except for emergency cases and advertising products), providing special goods and services without having the content confirmed by a competent state agency before advertising as prescribed.
For the above violations, Saigon Medical Clinic was fined 202 million VND by the Department of Inspection and had its medical examination and treatment license revoked for 4 months. Mr. Lieu Thanh Hoang (the person in charge of the clinic's professional expertise) also had his medical examination and treatment practice certificate revoked for 3 months.
In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health Inspectorate also requested the clinic to remove, dismantle, and delete advertisements whose advertising content has not been confirmed by a competent state agency before implementation./.
