Proud of our Party

The Spring of Giap Thin 2024 is the 94th spring of the glorious Party (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024). Over the past 94 years, under the guidance of the Party, the Vietnamese people have united into one bloc, creating total strength, thereby writing glorious and heroic pages of our country's history. At the moment when heaven and earth enter a new spring, we are even more excited and proud of the glorious journey of our Party.

1. In the spring of Canh Ngo 1930, leader Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh chaired a conference to unify three communist organizations in Vietnam at that time: the Indochinese Communist Party, the Annamese Communist Party and the Indochinese Communist Federation. On February 3, 1930, the Communist Party of Vietnam was officially born. This was a brilliant milestone in the path of building and developing our nation. Since the Party's leadership, the Vietnamese nation has turned a new page of glory. In 1945, when it was only 15 years old, with only more than 5,000 party members at that time, the Party led the people of the whole country to carry out the August General Uprising, taking power into the hands of workers and peasants, establishing the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. In 1954, it made the Dien Bien Phu victory "resounding throughout the five continents, shaking the world". Continuing the aspirations of spring, in 1975 our Party completed the historic mission of "fighting to drive out the Americans and overthrow the puppets", unifying the country, bringing the whole country into the era of national independence and socialism. After 94 years of the Party's guidance, our country has risen from a poor and backward country to a developing country with an average income, culture and society continue to develop, and the spiritual and material life of the people has improved significantly. In particular, the most outstanding achievement is economic growth and development. In 2023, overcoming difficulties, Vietnam has achieved very impressive socio-economic achievements, when the annual gross domestic product (GDP) growth reached 5.05%; inflation was controlled at 3.25%. GDP per capita is estimated at 101.9 million VND/person, equivalent to 4,284 USD, an increase of 160 USD compared to 2022. Especially in 2023, along with strict implementation of Party discipline, many new policies and regulations have been issued to promptly detect and prevent early and from afar signs of degradation, corruption, negativity, and power degeneration, creating a new protection corridor for cadres and Party members. Also in 2023, our Party has made many preparations for the 14th National Party Congress by completing the initial planning of the Central Executive Committee to organize training, fostering, arranging and practicing, and testing; and establishing Sub-committees to serve the 14th Congress. The above results demonstrate the sense of responsibility and high solidarity of our entire Party, people and army in building an increasingly strong and solid national foundation, creating a new position and new strength for Vietnam to reach new heights, with enough strength and intelligence to stand shoulder to shoulder with friends around the world.

2. As a part of the Party, the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee is very proud to have made a worthy contribution to the glorious cause of the Party and our nation. Accordingly, under the glorious Party flag, the Party Committee and people of Binh Thuan province are not afraid of sacrifices and hardships, are wholeheartedly loyal to the Party, and together with the whole country, have achieved many glorious achievements. These days, everywhere in Binh Thuan province is filled with a bustling atmosphere. The streets are decorated with flags and flowers by people to joyfully welcome the New Year and celebrate the glorious Party. The people of Binh Thuan are even more proud when, at the beginning of 2023, the Standing Committee of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee launched a political activity with the theme "Keeping the oath of Party membership" throughout the Party Committee. This policy not only attracts every cadre and Party member to participate, but also receives the consensus and support of the masses. Because “Keeping the Party Oath” is an opportunity for each cadre and party member to remind themselves of the pride and responsibility when being honored to join the Party; the promise before the organization and the people when being elected or appointed. From there, each cadre and party member self-reflects, self-corrects, and self-trains; contributes to preventing and combating degradation in political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle; upholds the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, and daring to take responsibility in performing assigned tasks.

Also in 2023, despite many difficulties, the province's socio-economic situation has achieved positive results, marking a period of strong development. The gross domestic product (GRDP) in 2023 increased by 8.1%, ranking 14th out of 63 provinces and cities and 4th out of 14 provinces in the North Central and Central Coast regions (while in 2022 it ranked 45th out of 63 and 10th out of 14). Industrial production value reached 40,611 billion VND, of which the electricity production and distribution industry increased by more than 11.6%. Export turnover reached more than 904 million USD. Budget revenue reached more than 10,000 billion VND, reaching 100% of the estimate.

Binh Thuan has identified 2024 as an important year in completing the goals of the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2021 - 2025. The goal is to continue to exploit and effectively use the resources, potentials and advantages of the province. Proactively link, cooperate and integrate; improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the state administrative apparatus. Promote economic restructuring associated with growth model innovation, increase labor productivity and economic competitiveness, focusing on developing industry, tourism and agriculture, contributing to economic recovery and development. To complete the above goals, Binh Thuan has directed localities, departments, branches and staff, civil servants and public employees to work with both responsibility and affection, with heart and vision; Dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, take work efficiency, people's and businesses' satisfaction and the province's development as a measure to evaluate the level of task completion, strive to fulfill one's duties and responsibilities well and complete the province's common tasks.

Spring belongs to the land and sky, the Party belongs to the people. The people trust the Party and are always proud of the two words "Our Party". A new Spring has come, every cadre, party member, and every Vietnamese person in general, and Binh Thuan in particular, has increased their national pride and confidence that, under the leadership of the Party, the country's foundation will become more and more solid and brighter with the noble goal: Rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness, civilization, steadily moving towards socialism.

Promoting the tradition of bravery and resilience in combat, dynamism and creativity in the cause of building the homeland, under the glorious Party flag, the Party Committee and people of Binh Thuan always unite, join hands and unite to build a clean and strong Party Committee, lead the people to successfully carry out socio-economic tasks, contributing with the whole country towards the goal of a rich people, a strong country, democracy, fairness and civilization.
