This is a practical activity to celebrate the Vietnamese Ethnic Culture Day (April 19); the 79th anniversary of Uncle Ho's letter to the Southern Ethnic Minorities Congress (April 19, 1946 - April 19, 2025) and nearly 20 years of implementing Decision No. 1668/QD-TTg dated November 17, 2008 of the Prime Minister on taking April 19 every year as the Vietnamese Ethnic Culture Day.

Specifically, according to Plan 1341/KH-BVHTTDL dated March 31, 2025 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the 2025 Vietnamese Ethnic Culture Day will have the participation of more than 300 artisans, ethnic people and representatives of 54 ethnic groups of provinces and centrally run cities.
Within the framework of the Festival, there will be a conference to summarize the coordination work with localities to mobilize ethnic people to organize activities at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village and performance activities to introduce local heritage and culture such as: Cultural colors of the Khmer ethnic group in Soc Trang (Reenacting the Chol Chnam Thmay festival of the Khmer ethnic group in Soc Trang province; Traditional music space and introducing and promoting tourism, exhibition of images of Soc Trang province); Cultural space "Colors of the Dak Lak plateau" (Reenacting the coming-of-age ceremony of the Ede ethnic group in Dak Lak province; Ede ethnic music space; Central Highlands coffee performance space); Cultural colors of the Thanh highlands through the cultural space of the Tho ethnic group in Thanh Hoa province (Reenacting the New Rice Celebration of the Tho ethnic group in Thanh Hoa province; Exchange program "Colors of the highlands"); Activities of the ethnic communities operating daily at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village.
The 2025 Vietnamese Ethnic Culture Day at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village is an opportunity for ethnic people to meet, exchange, learn, and share experiences in preserving and promoting traditional cultural values of ethnic groups, contributing to preserving, maintaining, honoring, and promoting traditional cultural values of the nation, building and developing a healthy and progressive cultural life. In addition, the Festival will help people and tourists have the opportunity to learn, experience, and enjoy the unique cultural values of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups, thereby raising awareness, pride, and sense of responsibility of the people in preserving and promoting the fine traditional values of the nation./.
