Visiting the specialized classroom for anti-mine weapon control machines, Underwater Weapons Department (Naval Academy), we were able to see the simulation system of the net sweeper control machine, the search equipment control machine, the underwater robot model, images of existing anti-mine ships, along with the types of net sweepers and usage plans...
These devices and images are not only vivid visual tools, helping students grasp knowledge quickly, but also understand and be proud of the glorious feats and achievements of the Vietnam People's Navy in the fight against enemy blockades of mines and magnetic bombs at river ports and seaports in the North half a century ago.

Sergeant Nguyen Ba Luong, a student of Class KMP17 (Battalion 3, Naval Academy ) expressed: "In addition to theoretical content, in the specialized classroom, we are exposed to simulation systems, many vivid images and drawings to help us grasp knowledge faster. We are also introduced to and imparted training and combat experiences of some units such as: Brigade 161 (Navy Region 3); Station 92 (Technical Assurance Center, Navy Region 2) ... helping us understand more deeply and have a more comprehensive view of the specialized technical equipment system for mines and anti-mines".
With nearly 30 years of experience teaching mines and anti-mines at the Naval Academy, Colonel Nguyen Cong Bang, Deputy Head of the Underwater Weapons Department, said: “In addition to equipping students with specialized knowledge to exploit, operate effectively, and master the methods of using anti-mine weapons on existing naval ships, we always attach importance to imparting combat experience, intelligence, and creativity of the previous generation in the campaign against the mine blockade and magnetic bombs of the US imperialists. This not only arouses students' pride and honor, but also provides practical knowledge to serve as a basis for application in study, work, and successful completion of assigned tasks.”
