Dak Lak Power Transmission conducts disaster prevention and search and rescue drills in 2025

Dak Lak Power Transmission (under Power Transmission Company 3) has just organized a drill on natural disaster prevention and search and rescue - emergency response in 2025.

The exercise gathered more than 150 officers and employees from 5 power transmission units, including: Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Ninh Thuan and Lam Dong.

In 2025, the drill scenario was built close to reality, with a power outage on the 500kV Pleiku 2 - Chon Thanh line passing through Ea Sup, Cu M'gar and Buon Don districts and implementing many important contents. In particular, the force participating in the drill inspected all conductors, positioning frames, joints, patches, frayed joints and accessories at 143 locations. In addition, technicians released the tension of the insulator string, checked the normal working condition of the insulator hangers at 8 important locations.

Mr. Doan The Thuan - Deputy Director of Dak Lak Power Transmission said that in performing the task of managing and operating the national power grid, the unit always clearly identifies the importance of drills. The goal is to help employees grasp emergency situations, quickly handle situations that occur on the power grid, in order to put the power grid into operation as quickly as possible.

The new point in this year's exercise is that it is no longer based on a hypothetical situation, but instead, it is practiced in the form of maintenance work on the real national grid. This approach contributes to improving practical skills, helping employees directly experience and face real situations that may occur during the process of managing and operating the grid.

Through the practical process, employees are trained in quick and accurate handling skills, ensuring safety for people and equipment.
