On the afternoon of August 15, the University Council of the University of Finance and Marketing held a conference to announce the resolution to appoint a 38-year-old vice principal.

Accordingly, Dr. Cao Tan Huy, Director of the Foreign Language and Information Technology Center of the University of Finance and Marketing, was appointed as Vice President of the University. Mr. Huy is assigned to be directly responsible for the school's facilities, digital transformation, international cooperation, and international quality assurance activities.
Mr. Cao Tan Huy (38 years old, from Ben Tre) is a PhD in Economics. He used to be a lecturer at the Faculty of Corporate Finance, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics, and a lecturer at the Institute of Applied Economic Research, University of Finance and Marketing.
Before being appointed as Vice Principal, Mr. Huy held the position of Deputy Director and Director of the school's Foreign Language and Information Technology Center.
He graduated from California State University Fullerton (CSU Fullerton, California, USA) in 2009 with a degree in Business Administration. He then received a Master's degree in International Finance and Trade from Leeds Metropolitan University (UK) in 2012. In 2019, he completed his PhD in Economics at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. He teaches and conducts research on corporate finance, financial management, etc.
With this appointment resolution, the Board of Directors of the University of Finance and Marketing currently has 3 people: 1 principal and 2 vice principals. Previously, at the end of 2021, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Tien Dat was recognized as the Principal of the University of Finance and Marketing at the age of 41.
The University of Finance and Marketing is a public university under the Ministry of Finance. Before becoming the University of Finance and Marketing in 2009, this university used to be the Central Price Cadre School, the Semi-Public Marketing College, and the Semi-Public Marketing University.
