In stage 10, crossing Hai Van Pass from Hue to Da Nang , Nick Kergozou (620 Chau Thoi Vinh Long), who is not good at climbing passes, was left behind by the leading group of riders by nearly 5 minutes, and his chance of competing for the yellow jersey at the Ho Chi Minh City Television Cycling Cup was gone. Therefore, this rider, who is good at competing on flat roads, focused on his main goal, the green jersey - the sprint king.

In stage 11 of the Ho Chi Minh City Television Cycling Cup 2025 taking place today from Da Nang to Tam Ky ( Quang Nam ), the distance of the race is 86 km. The race track is flat, without steep passes, so Nick Kergozou is fully supported by his teammates to compete for the stage win title. The racing team from Vinh Long proactively pulled a large group to chase the leading group of riders, then pushed the speed up to put Nick Kergozou in a favorable position for him to launch his signature sprint.

Despite the efforts of the teams TP.HCM Vinama, Loc Troi An Giang Group, Le Fruit Maxxis Dong Nai, team 620 Chau Thoi Vinh Long still brought Nick Kergozou to the top. Thanks to that, the New Zealand foreigner won the 6th stage of the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City Television Cycling Cup, thereby maintaining the title of green jersey - king of sprint. "I was surprised when competing at the finish line today, in addition to the familiar sprinters, there were also riders competing for individual rankings. These were riders trying to improve their performance on the overall individual rankings. I myself was supported by my teammates, so I tried to choose a favorable position and maximized my ability, so I was very happy to win the stage again," Nick Kergozou shared. The efforts of Nguyen Van Binh (HCMC New Group) helped him finish second while Nguyen Tan Hoai (Loc Troi An Giang Group) finished third.
