University of Transport researches to build Branch 2 in Ha Nam

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Truong Quoc Huy, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ha Nam province said: Implementing the policy of relocating universities from the inner city of Hanoi to the suburbs, in accordance with the planning of building a system of universities and colleges in the Hanoi capital region by 2025, with a vision to 2050; Ha Nam province has a policy of attracting universities to invest in building schools at Nam Cao University Area.

Ha Nam province is ready to accompany and support the University of Transport in terms of procedures and premises, creating the best conditions for the school to soon complete legal procedures to build a school in the province. To create favorable conditions for the school, Ha Nam cooperates with Sun Group to invest in social housing to support teachers of the school to live in so they can focus on teaching and student dormitories.

Comrade Truong Quoc Huy added: With its potential and advantages, Ha Nam is building the province to become a high-quality medical center; a center of universities and a center of entertainment, tourism and services of the whole country, ready to attract investors and universities.

Ha Nam province is planning to build social housing, support land clearance funds and exempt land rents for investors. Ha Nam province has also selected 4 prestigious and quality universities to invest in building schools in the province such as: University of Construction, Banking Academy; National Economics University; FPT University.

In recent years, Ha Nam province has spent nearly a quarter of its annual budget on investing in connecting Ha Nam province’s transport system with the national transport system and other provinces in the region. With the goal of creating a synchronous and convenient infrastructure to attract investors, especially large domestic and foreign investors, Ha Nam currently has more than 100,000 workers working in industrial parks.

This is also a favorable environment for students of training schools in the province to have the opportunity to practice and find suitable jobs at factories in industrial parks in Ha Nam province. In particular, the province has implemented the Sungroup investment project, which will attract about 10 million tourists with many suitable forms. Two hospitals, Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital, branch 2 in Ha Nam, will be put into operation by the end of 2025.

Speaking at the meeting, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Chuong, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Council of the University of Transport, thanked comrade Truong Quoc Huy and the leaders of Ha Nam province for their attention and reception of the delegation, especially for creating the best conditions for the University of Transport to have the opportunity to invest in building a second branch in the province.

The Chairman of the Council of the University of Transport believes that when the second branch of the National Economics University comes into operation, it will be an opportunity for teachers and students of the school to have a good environment to study and research. This is a good opportunity for students of the school to have an environment to experience from research in the school to reality at factories in the province.

Nam Cao University Area was approved by the Government in Decision No. 1748/QD-TTg dated September 27, 2013, located in Duy Tien town and Phu Ly city, Ha Nam province, with an area of ​​754 hectares, training scale of 50,000 students, 4,000 teachers and about 30,000 urban residents.

Nam Cao University has a favorable traffic location connecting to the Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City economic corridor, conveniently connecting to major cities via National Highway 1A and Cau Gie-Ninh Binh Expressway and located on the dynamic axis of urban development of Ha Nam province, convenient for combining businesses and training.
