On the morning of April 2, Mr. Le Huu Hoang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired a meeting with departments, branches, sectors and localities on the implementation of the National Target Program on New Rural Development (NTM) in Khanh Hoa province.

According to the report of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, up to now, the whole province has 71/90 communes meeting the new rural standards, 33 communes meeting the advanced new rural standards, 2 communes meeting the model new rural standards; the average number of criteria meeting the new rural standards of the province is 17.9 criteria/commune. In 2025, the target is to have 5 more communes meeting the new rural standards, 7 communes meeting the advanced new rural standards, 9 communes meeting the model new rural standards; Cam Lam district strives to meet the new rural district standards and Dien Khanh district to meet the advanced new rural district standards.

At the meeting, representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Environment reported on the progress, difficulties and problems in the process of deploying and implementing the construction of new rural areas in the province; at the same time, proposed the Provincial People's Committee to direct relevant agencies and units to guide, evaluate and confirm the criteria for building new rural areas.
