Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission visited and wished a happy New Year to officers and soldiers of the Coast Guard Region 3 Command

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin, authorized by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, on January 19, on behalf of the provincial leaders and the working delegation, comrade Dang Hong Sy - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission visited and extended New Year greetings to the Command of Coast Guard Region 3 in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

In a friendly atmosphere, Comrade Dang Hong Sy informed about the outstanding results in the socio-economic, defense - security and life of the people of Binh Thuan province in 2023. He affirmed that the overall achievements of Binh Thuan province have the contribution of the Coast Guard Region 3 Command. In recent years, the Coast Guard Region 3 Command has worked with many provinces and cities such as Binh Thuan, Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Tien Giang, Tra Vinh and Ho Chi Minh City to take care of thousands of policy families and fishermen; help and support many fishermen facing difficulties due to accidents and incidents while going offshore through the program "Coast Guard accompanies fishermen".

In 2023 alone, implementing the coordination program "Coast Guard accompanies fishermen", the Coast Guard Region 3 Command coordinated with the authorities and relevant agencies in Binh Thuan to organize many activities to disseminate laws related to Vietnam's seas and islands; propagate the prevention of illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing; visit and present gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and fishermen. In addition, the Region Command also presented hundreds of gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and fishermen in difficult circumstances; presented thousands of national flags and distributed leaflets to fishermen in Binh Thuan province.

During the visit, on behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Dang Hong Sy sent greetings, encouragement, gifts and wished the officers and soldiers of the Coast Guard Region 3 Command a happy, warm, safe, economical New Year of Giap Thin 2024 and excellent completion of assigned political tasks.
