BTO-This afternoon, March 10, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department launched the online contest "Learning about the history of 50 years of Binh Thuan's homeland liberation day (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025) and the Southern liberation day and national reunification day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025)".

Attending the launching ceremony were comrade Dang Hong Sy - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; representatives of leaders of a number of provincial agencies, departments and branches.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Vo Thanh Binh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department emphasized: The contest not only helps cadres, party members, union members, association members and people in the province, especially the young generation, better understand the process of fighting for national independence and the cause of building the homeland after liberation, but also contributes to fostering pride, strengthening trust in the Party and arousing strong aspirations for development.

Comrade Dang Hong Sy and other comrades in the Organizing Committee pressed the button to launch the contest.

In order to ensure that the contest is widely implemented and highly effective, comrade Vo Thanh Binh requested Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to promote their leadership, direction, propaganda and mobilization roles for cadres, party members, union members, association members and people to actively participate in the contest. Departments, branches, sectors and localities proactively implement plans to respond to the contest in many diverse forms, suitable for each target group. Provincial press agencies and resident press agencies in the area actively inform and propagate about the contest, creating a strong spread in the community. Schools, educational institutions, Youth Union, Association and Pioneer organizations step up propaganda and encourage students to participate to raise awareness of history, patriotism and sense of responsibility for the homeland.

The contest will take place from March 10, 2025 to April 6, 2025 on the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee's Electronic Information Portal (https://www.binhthuan.dcs.vn) and the websites of departments, branches, sectors, and socio-political organizations in the province. The form of the contest is online multiple choice, each exam consists of 10 questions with content revolving around the process of fighting for independence and liberation of Binh Thuan and the South; important historical events of Binh Thuan province during the two resistance wars; outstanding achievements of Binh Thuan after the liberation day; the Party's policies and guidelines in the cause of building and developing the province.

The time to participate in each contest starts from 8:00 a.m. on Monday to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday every week. Notably, the first contest will open at 2:00 p.m. on March 10, 2025 and end at 5:00 p.m. on March 16, 2025. The Jury will select the 9 best contestants each week to award 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 1 Third Prize and 6 Consolation Prizes. The contest summary and award ceremony will take place on the evening of April 18, 2025, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Binh Thuan Liberation Day.

The contest is not only a knowledge playground but also an opportunity for every Binh Thuan citizen to be grateful for the past, understand the present and join hands to build the future. The Organizing Committee of the Contest calls on all cadres, party members, union members, association members, youth, students and people in the province to actively participate, creating a vibrant and practical emulation movement to celebrate the great holidays of the nation and homeland.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission also launched the online quiz contest "Proud of Vietnam" to widely propagate to all classes of people, especially the young generation, the significance, stature, and great historical value of the August Revolution and the resistance war against the US to save the country; about the great achievements of the country in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular after 50 years of national reunification. Thereby, contributing to encouraging and motivating cadres, party members and people of all classes to compete to achieve achievements to celebrate the great national holidays and the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Party Congress.
