(NLDO)- Tourists admire the natural wonders of the world with a light show combined with fireworks on a cruise in Ha Long Bay.
Vietnam National Administration of Tourism said that Vietnam welcomed nearly 1.9 million international visitors in February, equal to 90% compared to the previous month and 130% compared to the same period in 2019. In the first two months of the year, Vietnam welcomed 3.96 million international visitors, up 30% over the same period last year.
The light show combined with fireworks on a cruise ship in Ha Long is expected to attract many tourists.
European markets continued to grow impressively, especially markets enjoying unilateral visa exemption policies such as: UK (up 24.1%), France (up 30.2%), Germany (up 26.7%), Italy (up 31.5%), Spain (up 19.9%), Russia (up 104.3%), Denmark (up 20.9%), Sweden (up 21.8%), Norway (up 21.4%). In addition, the Polish and Swiss markets also recorded an increase in the number of visitors, up 54.2% and 14.2% respectively compared to the same period in 2024.
In the first two months of 2025, Quang Ninh tourism welcomed more than 3.7 million visitors (up 27%) over the same period last year. In particular, the number of cruise and yacht tourists is one of the impressive points and is becoming an opportunity for Quang Ninh to exploit more and more effectively.
