Presenting 72 health insurance cards to students in difficult circumstances

This afternoon, December 28, the Provincial Social Insurance (PSI) coordinated with PVI-Hue Insurance Company to organize a program to give health insurance cards to students in difficult circumstances in 2023.

At the program, the provincial Social Insurance and PVI-Hue Insurance Company presented 72 health insurance cards to 72 disadvantaged students who have not participated in health insurance at primary, secondary and high schools in Dong Ha city, including: Hoa Binh Primary School, Dong Le Primary School, Phan Dinh Phung Secondary School, Ward 3 Primary and Secondary School, Ward 4 Primary and Secondary School. The total value of the program is nearly 50 million VND, mobilized from contributions of officials, civil servants, and employees of the provincial Social Insurance sector and the support of PVI-Hue Insurance Company.

Deputy Director of the Provincial Social Insurance Mai Thanh Binh said that giving health insurance cards to disadvantaged students who have not yet participated in health insurance not only contributes to increasing the rate of health insurance coverage among students, but also demonstrates the concern and sharing of society to help them overcome difficulties, strive to study and practice to become useful citizens for society. At the same time, it helps students have better health care conditions, reduce financial burdens and improve their quality of life.

This is an activity within the program of Giving Social Insurance Books and Health Insurance Cards to People in Difficult Circumstances in 2023 and Bringing a Warm Tet to the Poor in the Spring of Giap Thin - 2024 launched by Vietnam Social Security. Thereby promoting the fine cultural traditions of the nation, mobilizing the cooperation and sharing of cadres, civil servants, employees of the Social Security sector and the whole society in caring for and supporting those in difficult circumstances who do not have Health Insurance Cards, spreading the humanity, humanity and sharing of Social Insurance and Health Insurance policies in the community.
