Awarding ceremony for 12 creative logos and slogans for tourism in Quang Tri province

This morning, January 11, the Organizing Committee of the 2nd Quang Tri Province Tourism Logo and Slogan Design Contest held a closing ceremony and awarded prizes for the Quang Tri Province Tourism Logo and Slogan Design Contest.

After 9 months of organizing and implementing the contest, the Organizing Committee received 292 entries, including 147 logos and 145 slogans from 69 authors and groups of authors inside and outside the province. Many authors are art experts from Fine Arts Universities and Fine Arts Centers across the country; some authors also won high prizes in logo creation contests in provinces such as: Da Nang, Quang Nam, Ha Tinh, Thanh Hoa, Vung Tau...

According to the general assessment of the organizing committee, most of the entries this year have relatively even quality, meeting the purpose and requirements of the contest. The symbolic works have vivid colors, harmonious layouts suitable for tourism propaganda and promotion. At the same time, they have outlined and conveyed messages about the history, culture, nature and people of Quang Tri; demonstrating the strategy and goals of tourism development of the province.

The Organizing Committee has selected and decided to award 12 best logo and slogan compositions. In which, the First Prize for logo composition was awarded to author Nguyen Thien Duc (Hue City). With the main image combining the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Relic with the image of a stylized dove spreading its wings in the sky, welcoming the dawn, using a concise and highly general graphic language, author Thien Duc has expressed the vitality, revival, and aspiration for peace of the land and people of Quang Tri as well as the common wishes of all humanity; awarded 3 First Prizes for slogan composition "Sacred Land Convergence" to 3 authors, groups of authors including: group of authors Ho Thanh Tho, Doan Phuong Nam, Hoang Cong Danh (Dong Ha City); author Nguyen Thanh Thai (Dong Ha City) and author Le Cong Dao (Da Nang City).

The second contest to create a logo and slogan for Quang Tri tourism has created a brand identity for Quang Tri tourism. Thereby serving the propaganda, promotion and tourism promotion to domestic and foreign tourists in the coming time.
