Phu Tho is the land of the nation's origin, the origin of the Hung King Worship - a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity. This belief has an important position in spiritual life, carrying profound spiritual values ​​of sentiment, self-respect and national pride, expressing the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source", "When eating fruit, remember the person who planted the tree".

Tens of thousands of children from all parts of the country as well as overseas Vietnamese return to celebrate the Ancestor's Death Anniversary.

During the process of formation and development, the Hung King worship belief gradually spread with lasting vitality from generation to generation, from the highlands to the lowlands, from North to South, from the country to abroad; carrying a sacred and noble meaning towards the origin, showing gratitude to those who contributed to the founding of the country; connecting the past and the present, being the spiritual fulcrum that creates the strength of the Vietnamese people.

There are nearly 1,500 temples worshipping the Hung Kings nationwide, and Phu Tho province alone - the center of religious practice - has hundreds of relics. The space for worshipping the Hung Kings is the villages and communes in the districts of Cam Khe, Lam Thao, Doan Hung, Ha Hoa, Phu Ninh, Tam Nong, Thanh Ba, Thanh Son, Tan Son, Thanh Thuy, Yen Lap, Phu Tho town and Viet Tri city. The worship space with the most practitioners is the Hung Temple, consisting of 3 temples: Ha, Trung, Thuong on Nghia Linh mountain in Hy Cuong commune, Viet Tri city. Recognizing the role and significance of the Hung Kings worship in the flow of traditional culture, Phu Tho province has done a good job of preserving and promoting the value of heritage; educating the tradition of patriotism, deep gratitude to the Hung Kings and ancestors who have contributed to building and defending the country.

The Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of At Ty - 2025 will be held in two parts. The Ceremony part is solemn, dignified, respectful, community-oriented, ensuring safety, civilization and economy. The Festival activities are closely linked with cultural, sports and tourism events to form a series of activities of the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land; demonstrating the unique cultural identity of the Ancestral Land, creating attractiveness and competitiveness to attract tourists, widely promoting the potential and strengths of Phu Tho cultural tourism resources. Mobilizing the highest level of social resources; ensuring political security, social order and safety, and being friendly to people and tourists. Accordingly, it is necessary to strengthen propaganda and promotion activities of cultural heritage, organize cultural, sports and tourism activities associated with tourism development, meet the needs of experience and discovery of people and tourists, and at the same time contribute to promoting local economic development.

To organize the solemn, respectful, communal ceremony, ensuring safety, civilization and economy, the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site coordinates with departments, branches, People's Committees of districts, cities and towns and organizations in the province to effectively implement planned activities such as: Presiding over the development of the script: The National Ancestor Lac Long Quan's Death Anniversary Ceremony, the Mother Au Co Incense Offering Ceremony (March 6, At Ty year); The Hung Kings' Incense Offering Ceremony (March 10, At Ty year) submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for approval and implementation. Receiving and guiding districts, cities, towns, organizations, individuals and communities to organize the Hung Kings' Incense Offering Ceremony at the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site according to traditional rituals; developing plans, scripts and guiding the organization of the palanquin procession to the Hung Temple of communes, wards and towns in the vicinity of the Relic Site. Coordinate with the Provincial Police to strengthen inter-sectoral inspection of cultural, sports, tourism and advertising activities and services to ensure security, order and safety.

Preparing facilities, beautifying the overall landscape of the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site, the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site is the investor of the project "Upgrading the landscape system in front of the Gieng Temple" in the project "Renovating and embellishing the landscape infrastructure of the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site", constructing and installing equipment in the lotus pond area and in front of the Gieng Temple to create a green, clean, beautiful space, protecting the ecological environment, contributing to attracting domestic and foreign visitors when coming to attend the Hung King's death anniversary. 60 La Han pine trees have been planted and carefully cared for, while the rockery and miniature landscape around the lotus pond are also being urgently completed. Along with that, the Management Board of the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site has developed and implemented many plans to ensure the landscape and environment so that the festival area is always green, clean, and beautiful. Organize, arrange, and set up sales and service locations, clean the environment, trim trees, and ensure aesthetics at the Den Gieng 5-way intersection and surrounding areas. Maintain, repair, and renovate infrastructure works in the area; arrange staff to collect and promptly treat waste to ensure environmental sanitation. The system of sales kiosks is also organized and rearranged synchronously, neatly, and by area, making it convenient for visitors to choose souvenirs for themselves and their loved ones when returning to the Land of Ancestors.

To ensure security, order and aesthetics, the Relic Site has strengthened the management of sales and service business activities; managed business households in complying with, protecting, preserving, promoting the image and promoting the value of the Relic Site; inspected and urged business households to renovate kiosks, sales and service areas to ensure aesthetics; notified groups and individuals of locations that will not organize sales and service businesses in 2025 to clean up and dismantle; dismantled and cleared sales and service business areas that do not comply with regulations when requested. Prevented and handled street vendors who cause offense and frustration to tourists.
