According to VGC , on Friday, December 1, Rockstar confirmed the release date of the first trailer for the game Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6), accordingly, the trailer of the expected game will be officially released on December 5.

The game developer announced last month that the first trailer for GTA 6 would be released in December to celebrate the company's 25th anniversary. Previously in February 2022, Rockstar confirmed that development on the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto series was "well underway," but did not provide any further details about the game.

However, in September 2022, one of the gaming industry's most notable data leaks saw over an hour of GTA 6 footage leaked online, giving the community their first look at the sequel to one of the best-selling games of all time.

The leaked details include open-world gameplay from the alpha build of GTA 6 and appear to corroborate a previously claimed report that the game will take place in Vice City and feature a female protagonist.

Rockstar Games' parent company Take-Two has previously forecast that sales will surge in the next financial year, driven by the release of "several groundbreaking titles." This has fueled speculation that GTA 6 will be released in the 2024/25 financial year, which ends on March 31, 2025.
