After the success of its two predecessors, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has been released by Insomniac Games for PlayStation 5 players worldwide. Will this next game meet the high expectations from fans? The answer seems to be quite positive.

In a matter of seconds, dozens of city blocks fly by at incredible speeds. Other scenes clearly use the dimension-shifting technology Insomniac designed for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart . Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is one of the few games that feels like it was truly designed for the PlayStation 5's modern hardware.

Aside from that, Spider-Man 2 looks great and runs incredibly smoothly. Visual issues are rare and minor. Even when running in Performance mode (prioritizing performance over visuals) at 60 FPS, the graphics are smooth, with plenty of detail like the interiors of cars and apartments, bringing New York City to life and full of detail.
