TPO - On the afternoon of June 14, Ho Chi Minh City experienced widespread thunderstorms, accompanied by hail in some inner-city districts.

According to the reporter's records, at around 3:30 p.m. on June 14, widespread thunderstorms occurred in Ho Chi Minh City. After about 15 minutes, some areas in District 1, District 3, District 4,... experienced hail and strong winds.

Ms. Le Thi Anh Nhan (Office worker in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City) shared: "At 3:30 p.m., I heard a loud banging sound from the metal roof of my office that lasted for nearly ten minutes. Feeling strange, I ran to the window and looked up at the roof and saw a series of ice cubes the size of a fingertip falling in the rain. The ice cubes were small and melted quickly when I picked them up."

Similarly, not far away, some people traveling on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street (District 1) had to stop their vehicles to avoid heavy rain. At this time, many people discovered that in the rain, there were tiny stones falling on the road surface.

At 3:30 p.m., the Southern Hydrometeorological Station said that monitoring satellite cloud images, weather radar images and lightning positioning showed that thunderstorms were developing and causing rain with thunderstorms and lightning in Can Gio, Nha Be, Binh Chanh districts, District 8, District 7, Binh Tan district, District 6, Thu Duc city,...

It is forecasted that in the next 3 hours, thunderstorms will continue to develop, causing showers, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning for the above districts, then expanding to other neighboring areas including.
