TPO - The Meteorological Agency forecasts that from August 3 to 6, Ho Chi Minh City will have scattered showers and thunderstorms with some places having moderate to heavy rain.
According to the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, the low pressure trough currently has an axis across the northern region of the North connecting with the hot low pressure centered in the North. The southwest monsoon dominates the weather in the Ho Chi Minh City area with weak to moderate intensity.
Above, the subtropical high pressure axis passes through the South Central and Southern regions and slightly moves westward; weakens around August 3-5 and becomes active again in the following days.

It is forecasted that in the first 10 days of August, rain will decrease in both area and volume across the entire Ho Chi Minh City area.
During the first week of the month, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places; in which, on August 7-10, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places; especially on August 3-6, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms with some places having moderate to heavy rain. The average temperature is generally higher than the average of many years (TBNN) for the same period, ranging from 27-28.5 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature is generally from 32-35 degrees Celsius; the lowest is from 24-27 degrees Celsius. The total weekly rainfall is generally lower than the TBNN, ranging from 40-90mm.
In the coastal areas of Ho Chi Minh City, the sea weather has scattered showers and thunderstorms. Beware of tornadoes and gusts of wind during thunderstorms. The southwest wind is generally weak to moderate in intensity throughout the first 10 days of August and is around level 4-5.
