On February 12, the leader of the People's Committee of District 12 assigned the Department of Education and Training to coordinate with relevant units to advise the District People's Committee to guide and organize the implementation of regulations on extra teaching and learning for schools, organizations and individuals under its management.
The move took place in the context of Circular 29 of the Ministry of Education and Training regulating extra teaching and learning, which officially took effect from February 14. It includes a regulation that teachers are not allowed to teach extra classes outside of school for students they are assigned to teach according to the school's plan.
The Department of Education and Training is responsible for presiding over and coordinating with the People's Committees of wards to establish inspection teams for extra teaching and learning activities in February 2025; and handling, according to its authority, organizations and individuals with violations, if any.
The Department of Education and Training of District 12 must organize and deploy to the Board of Directors of public schools and leaders of educational institutions to seriously implement regulations on extra teaching and learning.
Synthesize difficulties and problems arising in relation to the management of extra teaching and learning to propose to the city. The Department of Education and Training guides and is responsible to the District People's Committee if violations of extra teaching and learning occur among staff, teachers and employees of public schools.
The Board of Directors of public schools, leaders of educational institutions in the area, 100% of staff and teachers must clearly understand the regulations and instructions on extra teaching and learning; regularly review, remind and inspect the compliance with regulations on extra teaching and learning among school staff and teachers; coordinate with competent authorities to handle violations, if any, according to regulations.
Ward Chairmen are responsible for managing extra teaching and learning activities in the area.
