Special cultural program to welcome the congress.

Within the framework of the congress, delegates and typical examples of "Uncle Ho's Good Children" offered incense and flowers to report to President Ho Chi Minh, visited the space "Uncle Ho with children", and interacted with Labor Hero, People's Teacher Nguyen Duc Thin - the teacher who initiated the "Thousand Good Deeds" movement in 1963, along with typical examples of "Uncle Ho's Good Children".

The Organizing Committee awarded scholarships to support education until the end of high school to 30 delegates of "Uncle Ho's Good Children" who have overcome difficulties and children of officers and soldiers of the armed forces with difficult circumstances.

At the congress, the City Youth Union and the Ho Chi Minh City Young Pioneers Council honored 350 typical "Good Children of Uncle Ho" at the city level in 2023, representing more than 620,000 examples of "Good Children of Uncle Ho" in the whole city. These are bright and typical examples in the process of studying and training, making many contributions in various fields, actively participating in the work of the Young Pioneers and the city's children's movement. Each honored example is a beautiful story of determination to strive, to strive to rise up, to inspire and spread positive energy for the city's children to learn.

Speaking at the congress, Comrade Nguyen Thi Le, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, praised the achievements of the city's team members, teenagers and children in the past time. At the same time, she highly appreciated the City Youth Union and the City Team Council for their good coordination with relevant sectors in advising and proposing to the city's leaders practical contents in protecting, caring for and educating children. Along with that, effectively organizing movement activities, creating an environment to help team members and children in the city practice and develop comprehensively.

In the coming time, comrade Nguyen Thi Le suggested that Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, and organizations continue to focus on doing a good job of protecting, caring for, and educating children, creating more favorable conditions for the Team to operate effectively, and being a companion environment for team members and children to practice and grow up. Children in the city need to compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings, together build beautiful friendships, solidarity, love, study well, always strive to be good children and good students, worthy of being "Uncle Ho's good children". At the same time, actively do many good things to develop themselves, contribute to their families, schools, and communities.

On this occasion, the Central Youth Union and the Central Council of Young Pioneers presented children in Ho Chi Minh City with a playground for children, 2,000 red scarves and 1,000 books.
