The delegates stepped off the KN-290 fishing control ship with indescribable emotions. Some were nostalgic for the place where they had eaten, slept, and lived for the past eight days. Some could not stop talking about the young soldiers at the DK1/10 platform in the middle of the vast ocean and sky.

The delegation visiting the people and military of the Southwest this time was led by Rear Admiral Pham Nhu Xuan - Deputy Commander of the Navy - and the delegation from Ho Chi Minh City was led by Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

At each unit visited, each group in the delegation presented Ho Chi Minh cultural space. Competition activities between groups on the KN-290 ship were also extremely exciting with competitions to learn about sea and island knowledge, chess, cultural exchange, etc.

Along with that, every day the soldiers on board and the delegates are instructed to make different types of cakes.

All of the above programs of the Party Committee, government, army and people of Ho Chi Minh City all hope to contribute to creating the most favorable conditions for cadres, soldiers and people on the islands and platforms to best perform their duties to firmly protect the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
