On December 13, the Provincial Farmers' Association coordinated with the Central Office of the Vietnam Farmers' Association to organize a conference to summarize the model of developing commercial chicken farming towards biosafety in 2024 in Dong Thinh commune, Yen Lap district.
Overview of the conference summary.
The model was implemented from August 2024 with 12 participating households. Households participating in the model were supported with 3,300 breeding chickens, nearly 20 tons of feed, biological products and training on techniques for raising and caring for chicken flocks at each stage. After 4 months of implementation, the model chicken flock developed well, evenly, had beautiful colors, grew quickly, had few diseases, the survival rate reached 98%, and the average weight reached 2.5 - 3kg/chicken.
Representatives of the Central Office of the Vietnam Farmers' Union and the Provincial Association inspected and visited households participating in the model of developing commercial chicken farming towards biosafety in Dong Thinh commune, Yen Lap district.
Through the model, farmers can access new science and technology, guide livestock production organization towards biosafety, sustainable development and replicate the model to bring high productivity, good meat quality, meet the demand for clean and safe food for consumers and contribute to improving environmental protection standards.
