Provincial People's Council delegation meets voters in Nga Son district

On the afternoon of June 6, at Nga Thai commune, the delegation of the Provincial People's Council, including Major General Tran Phu Ha, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police; Do Ngoc Duy, Deputy Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council, met with voters of Nga Son district before the 20th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council.

Leaders and many voters of Nga Son district attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the representative of the delegation of the Provincial People's Council announced the expected time, content, and program of the 20th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council; reported on the socio-economic situation of the province in the first 5 months of 2024; and the results of implementing opinions and recommendations of voters in the district sent to the sessions of the 18th Provincial People's Council.

Voters of Nga Son district were excited about the socio-economic development results that the province has achieved; at the same time, they expressed their confidence in the leadership, direction and administration of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and local Party committees and authorities for the development of the province and Nga Son district.

Delegate Tran Phu Ha presented a report on the province's socio-economic situation in the first 5 months of 2024.

In the spirit of democracy, voters of Nga Son district have proposed many contents directly related to the life and socio-economic development in the locality. Specifically, voters requested the relevant agencies to pay attention to repairing and upgrading the seriously degraded provincial road 524 through the two communes of Nga An and Nga Phu; review the entire flood drainage system, especially the drainage system and riverside dikes to ensure safety during the rainy and stormy season; promptly resolve the proposals of households subject to land clearance for the construction of the 500 kV power line project on the recovery of the remaining housing area, small and narrow garden land, creating conditions for people to improve their quality of life after agreeing to hand over the land to the investor and contractor to implement the project.

Voters also requested that authorities at all levels pay attention to resolving outstanding issues related to the issuance of land use right certificates; speed up the progress of the renovation of the Mai An Tiem Temple relic in the district, avoiding the situation where many households in the planning area have had their assets counted but for many years have been unable to build, repair and produce because the project is still unfinished...

On behalf of the delegation of the Provincial People's Council, Deputy Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council Do Ngoc Duy clarified a number of recommendations and proposals of voters; at the same time, requested the departments and branches of Nga Son district to focus on solving issues under their authority.

For issues beyond its authority, the Provincial People's Council Delegation will receive and synthesize them to reflect at the 20th Session of the 18th Provincial People's Council.
