According to the Organizing Committee of major holidays in Quang Nam province, through the commemorative activities, the aim is to review the glorious revolutionary tradition of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee; to propagate and raise awareness and pride of cadres, party members and people of all walks of life about the revolutionary ideals chosen by the Party and Uncle Ho, to express deep gratitude to the generations who sacrificed for the independence and unification of the Fatherland, to promote the tradition of steadfast revolutionary struggle in the resistance war and national construction of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, army and people. At the same time, the great achievements that the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee and people have achieved after 50 years of liberation are introduced.
Besides, educating patriotism, revolutionary tradition, national pride and self-respect for generations, especially the young generation; thereby encouraging and creating motivation to compete to welcome Party congresses at all levels towards the 23rd Provincial Party Congress, promoting the spirit of solidarity, excitement, aspiration to rise up, dedication, and determination to build Quang Nam province to develop more and more.
The commemorative activities are organized at the provincial level. Steering agencies: Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province. Implementing and coordinating agencies: Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Provincial Party Committee Office, Provincial People's Committee Office, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, relevant departments, branches, associations, unions, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities in the province.
According to the plan, there will be 7 main groups of activities including:
Activities of gratitude
Organizing a working delegation of the province to pay tribute at the Road 9 Martyrs' Cemetery, Truong Son Martyrs' Cemetery (Quang Tri Province); the Martyrs' Temple of Battalion 76 Hai - Da (Dien Phong Commune, Dien Ban Town); visiting and presenting gifts to a number of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids, martyrs' families, and policy families in Thanh Hoa Province, Hai Phong City, and former Provincial Party Secretaries (or relatives of former Provincial Party Secretaries) from 1930 to present. Implementation period is from January 2025 to March 2025.
Organize a candle lighting ceremony at the provincial martyrs cemetery in March 2025. Upgrade martyrs cemeteries, historical sites, and implement policies for people with meritorious services; implementation period is from January 2025 to March 2025.
Incense offering ceremony at the provincial martyrs cemetery and the monument to heroic Vietnamese mothers
Expected time: morning of March 24, 2025 (Monday). Participants include the Central delegation: leaders of the Party, State, leaders of central departments, ministries and branches; delegations of leaders of neighboring provinces and cities; Quang Nam province delegation: comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Committee of the People's Council, leaders of the People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, leaders of the National Assembly delegation of the province, the Organizing Committee for major holidays of the province and representatives of departments, branches, sectors, unions and Tam Ky city.
Celebration of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Quang Nam province and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Provincial Party Committee
The ceremony will take place at 7:30 a.m. on March 24, 2025 (Monday) at 24/3 Square, Tam Ky City. The program is expected to last 30 minutes and will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam, and Quang Nam Radio and Television.
The expected number of attendees is about 1,500 delegates. Central guests include leaders of the Party, State, Government, National Assembly, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; leaders of central ministries and branches; leaders and former leaders of the Party, State and central ministries and branches who are from Quang Nam; representatives of leaders of central Party agencies and departments in Da Nang.
There were also international guests; guests from neighboring provinces and cities; representatives of the leaders of Military Region 5 Command, generals from Quang Nam, representatives of the Quang Nam Association in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City; guests from the province; representatives of leaders and reporters from central and local press agencies; and people of Tam Ky City.
After the celebration is the parade, march, art performance, and flower float parade at 8:00 a.m. on March 24, 2025 at 24/3 Square, Tam Ky City.
Organize exhibitions and displays on socio-economic achievements of the country.

The program takes place at 8:00 p.m. on March 24, 2025 at 24/3 Square, Tam Ky City and will be broadcast live on Quang Nam Radio and Television Station.

In addition to the above activities, many other activities took place such as: groundbreaking and inauguration of a number of key projects of the province; organizing political activities for cadres and party members and organizing a contest to learn about the historical and cultural traditions of Quang Nam and the history of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee; organizing creative camps in the field of literature and art; launching and awarding the Press Prize to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Quang Nam province and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Provincial Party Committee; launching an emulation movement to achieve achievements to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Quang Nam province and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Provincial Party Committee...
The provincial organizing committee for major holidays requires that commemorative activities be organized solemnly, synchronously and practically, associated with the launching of patriotic emulation movements in agencies, units and all people.
