The leader of Dak Nong Aluminum Company said that TKV has voluntarily returned to the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee more than 100 hectares of land after bauxite mining in Dak Wer and Nghia Thang communes, Dak R'lap district.

Bauxite ore is widespread, accounting for about 1/3 of the natural area of Dak Nong province.
More than 100 hectares of land after bauxite mining were returned to Dak Nong by the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group.

This is the land area of the first and second quarries of the third year, leased by the Provincial People's Committee to TKV (directly Dak Nong Aluminum Company) since 2019 for the purpose of exploiting bauxite minerals.

Currently, the Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to take the lead in receiving and handing over this land area on file and in the field. The Dak R'lap District People's Committee is responsible for managing and arranging the use of more than 100 hectares of land returned by TKV in accordance with planning and regulations.
