Overview of the working session

At the meeting, the leaders of LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam shared with the provincial leaders the factory's operations during the testing phase and preparations for the factory inauguration ceremony in early April 2025. Mr. Jesper Hassellund Mikkelsen emphasized that the LEGO factory project in Binh Duong has been implemented on schedule and is the fastest progressing project among LEGO factories of the same area. This is thanks to the support of the Central Ministries, departments and Binh Duong province. He hopes that the leaders of Binh Duong province will continue to accompany, create all favorable conditions and promptly resolve difficulties and problems in the Company's operations.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Loi congratulated LEGO on completing the project on schedule and will officially inaugurate it on April 9. The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that LEGO is the first carbon neutral factory in Vietnam with a total investment of more than 1.3 billion USD. Therefore, the provincial departments and localities need to pay attention to supporting and creating conditions for LEGO to achieve this goal. The Secretary assigned the Provincial People's Committee to complete the report on resolving LEGO's recommendations on electricity and fire prevention and fighting by March 30, 2025 and work with the ministries and branches to immediately remove obstacles.
