Physician Tran Thi Mao
Application of oriental medicine in beauty
10 years ago, after graduating from the Traditional Medicine Faculty of Saigon International College, physician Tran Thi Mao continued to learn to gain experience in her profession. She continued to study new treatment methods, studied for certificates in training massage technicians, acupressure, and physical therapy from the Vietnam College of Medical Technology and Pharmacy, and participated in many training courses to improve her skills at the Vietnam Association of Traditional Medicine. With the experience she learned from her predecessors, the knowledge she learned on her own, and the hard work she put into research, physician Tran Thi Mao has now confidently applied oriental medicine to treatment.
For physician Tran Thi Mao, she does not pursue quantity, but always wants to do it as carefully and meticulously as possible. "A physician's hands can only massage and adjust a limited number of patients, because when she puts all her effort into massaging and pressing acupuncture points on a patient, her hands get very tired and need to rest to be flexible again," physician Mao shared.
Patients who come to see physician Tran Thi Mao are not only from Da Lat, but also from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Nam, Da Nang... This treatment method cannot be examined remotely, but must be examined directly through hours of manipulation and massage to get the desired results.
In fact, many patients received good treatment results, making female physician Tran Thi Mao want to spread the treatment method of applying oriental medicine to beauty to oriental medicine clinics across the country. "I just want to share my profession with many people, giving many patients more confidence" - physician Tran Thi Mao confided.
Many times, she has traveled to many provinces and remote areas to provide free medical treatment to people. She also does not hesitate to bring new treatment methods to the border areas of Binh Phuoc, the Northwest highlands... so that many people can regain their health. In the near future, she will go to Hanoi to meet and exchange expertise with the Ha Dong Oriental Medicine Association, to further spread this non-invasive treatment method. She hopes that many patients will have more effective access when applying Oriental medicine to medical examination and treatment.
Queen of "unsold agricultural products"
Not only is she dedicated and devoted to her patients, physician Tran Thi Mao also specializes in helping people rescue unsold agricultural products. Agricultural products of people from all over the country, from Da Lat, Quang Nam, Quang Binh to Thanh Hoa... Whenever a rural area calls for the rescue of potatoes, sweet potatoes... she is restless. She laughs and says, "Most recently, I rescued cabbage. Every time I see people tired with unsold cabbage fields, I can't bear it. Something urges me to help and support, like an order from my heart."
The rescue trips were not profitable, people sold them for 500 dong, she also tried to call on people and relatives to buy them for 500 dong.
Not only rescuing unsold agricultural products, physician Tran Thi Mao is also passionate about charity. As a member of the Institute for Cultural Development and Community Health Care, she participates in all charity trips from the South to the North of the Institute such as: free treatment for the poor, families in difficult circumstances as well as charity activities on holidays and Tet. Physician Tran Thi Mao's work has been awarded many valuable certificates of merit by local authorities as well as departments.
