10g honeysuckle, 20ml sugarcane juice. Cook with 500ml water, boil for about 10 minutes. Drink once a day, continuously for 7-10 days, to help clear wind and heat, reduce fever.

Red bean and barley porridge

Coix seed 20g, red bean 30g, Smilax glabra 30g, rice 100g. Wash all, cook with appropriate amount of water into porridge. Divide into 3 meals a day, with a little white sugar or rock sugar.

While sick, you should avoid greasy foods, hot foods, and foods that are too nutritious.

People with chickenpox should avoid eating hot and spicy foods such as: ginger, onions, garlic, leeks, chili, pepper, dill, curry, mustard, coriander, meats such as goat, dog, chicken, duck, goose, eel, seafood (shrimp, crab, clams, snails, etc.), lychee, longan, plum, ripe mango, jackfruit, persimmon, cherry, spinach, fatty foods such as chestnuts, roasted peanuts, roasted melon seeds, fried beans, donuts, fried foods, animal fats, etc.

The most taboo is cinnamon, because cinnamon has a very hot, pure yang nature, and has the effect of warming and supporting fire. Too much dryness will damage yin, which is very dangerous for chickenpox patients.
