This afternoon (March 19), at the headquarters of Dak Lak Provincial Police, the Department of Party and Political Affairs (Ministry of Public Security) coordinated with Dak Lak Provincial Police to organize a ceremony to receive artifacts donated by families of martyrs who died in the terrorist attack on June 11, 2023 and artifacts of typical events of Dak Lak Provincial Police.

Attending the ceremony were Major General Dang Ngoc Bach, Deputy Director of the Department of Party and Political Affairs of the Ministry of Public Security; Major General Dinh Huu Phuong, Head of the Retired Officers Club of the Public Security Forces Building Block, and leaders of Dak Lak Provincial Police...

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Dang Ngoc Bach said that the sacrifices of martyrs while performing their duties for the peaceful life of the people are extremely sacred.

"The relics of the martyrs are extremely valuable to the families. However, with the desire that these relics be preserved and protected to contribute to spreading the tradition of the People's Public Security Forces, the families of the martyrs unanimously donated the relics to the People's Public Security Forces," Major General Dang Ngoc Bach shared.

Holding in her hands the certificates of merit along with many mementos of her son, Major, Martyr Tran Quoc Thang (Ea Tieu Commune Police), mother Tran Thi Hoa tearfully said that since the day he fell, these artifacts have always been reserved in a solemn corner by her mother to place on his altar.

“These mementos are extremely meaningful to the family. However, donating them to the CAND Museum is an honor for the family, where my son will live forever with his friends and comrades,” Ms. Hoa said emotionally.

Ms. Tran Thi Sen (wife of Major, Martyr Hoang Trung, police officer of Ea Ktur commune) said that donating her husband's relics is not only a source of pride for the family but also a source of motivation for her children and family members to follow his example, continue to compete in working, studying, and contributing to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, worthy of her husband's heroic sacrifice.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the martyrs' families, Mr. Ha Trong Minh (father of Captain, Martyr Ha Tuan Anh) was very moved and respectfully thanked the affection and care of the Party, State, Ministry of Public Security, Dak Lak Provincial Police, departments, branches, organizations, and people for the martyrs' families during the past time, helping the families to soon overcome the pain to continue studying, working well, and contributing to society.

On behalf of the Department of Party and Political Affairs, Major General Dang Ngoc Bach thanked the martyrs' families for their cooperation and support to the CAND Museum in donating martyrs' relics.

“These relics will become museum artifacts, cultural heritages of the entire force and have profound significance in the work of propaganda, honoring and expressing gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of the martyrs. Thereby, deeply educating the tradition for the cadres and soldiers, especially the young generation to learn and follow the example of the martyrs who laid down their lives for a peaceful life and for the happiness of the people,” said Major General Dang Ngoc Bach.

Also at the ceremony, the Executive Board of the Retired Officers Club of the Public Security Forces Construction Bloc and the Retired Female Officers Club of the Public Security Forces presented gifts to the families of martyrs.
