At the end of 2020, Dr. Vo Anh Khue researched, designed and manufactured a compost bin from organic waste. The result was to establish a general principle of natural aerobic composting in a closed bin with an upward air flow. From this principle, Dr. Khue designed and manufactured a compost bin, contributing to the classification and reduction of organic waste at the source.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hong, Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Binh Ngoc Commune (Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen Province), said: "Since these garbage bins have been installed, a large amount of domestic waste has been handled locally and households have used this amount of organic fertilizer to fertilize vegetables and plants. In particular, the trash bins do not leak water or emit odors, so they do not affect the environment."
Then, Dr. Vo Anh Khue researched the process of improving the quality of biological detergent (biological dishwashing liquid) produced from plant waste.
In addition, Dr. Vo Anh Khue also researches many topics related to waste and environmental protection such as: multi-purpose filtering and stirring equipment to support the production of biological detergents from fruit peels; utilizing and reprocessing waste plants after fermentation into biological products for waste treatment...
When the Covid-19 epidemic broke out, Dr. Vo Anh Khue successfully researched and manufactured an Anolyte solution production device to help create a disinfectant product to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic.
"I am preparing to carry out a research project on water treatment without using chemicals to provide domestic water for areas without tap water, especially remote areas, ethnic minority areas, coastal areas, and areas that often lack domestic water...", Dr. Khue revealed.
