Accordingly, the patient, Mr. NVH (21 years old, Dong Nai) had a feng shui filler injection in the nose area in District 10, Ho Chi Minh City. The investigation results showed that the place where Mr. H. used the service was a shop with a signboard selling bread and sticky rice, and the first floor was a boarding house for students to rent. The place where the procedure was performed was a simple, messy bed.

Five minutes after the filler injection, Mr. H. experienced symptoms of headache, vomiting, pain in the right eye, blurred vision, and dizziness. Immediately after, Mr. H. was admitted to the Emergency Department at People's Hospital 115, then transferred to Cho Ray Hospital for emergency treatment. After receiving the information, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health coordinated with the District 10 Health Department and local authorities to conduct verification.

The verification results showed that Ms. MTAL was the one who injected filler for Mr. H. on the first floor, which had a sign saying it sold bread and sticky rice. Ms. L. bought the filler online for 300,000 VND/cc. The facility had no legal documents related to medical examination and treatment activities. The District 10 Health Department coordinated with the Investigation Police Agency and District 10 Police to handle the case according to the law.

In fact, there are many cases where after filler injections at illegal cosmetic facilities, dangerous complications occur, requiring hospitalization, and even cases of nasal necrosis, blindness... because they cannot be cured.

The Inspector of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health recommends that people should be careful and carefully research beauty establishments before using them, especially not choosing beauty establishments based on the names on the signs such as "beauty salon", "cosmetic institute"...
