The ribbon cutting ceremony was performed by representatives of domestic and international agencies and organizations and Lotte World.
With a total area of over 9,000 m2, a capacity of 3,400 tons of water, the largest curved acrylic tank in Southeast Asia (18 x 5.8 m) and the largest touch tank in Vietnam (capacity of 90 tons of water), Lotte World Aquarium Hanoi becomes the largest indoor aquarium in the capital.
Operated by modern technology, the aquarium provides an ideal habitat for about 400 species and 31,000 marine creatures.
Along the 650-meter long aquarium path, visitors will pass through 4 main areas: Peaceful Village, Walking on the Sea, Exploring the Blue Sea and Ocean Square.
Previously, in April, Lotte World Aquarium Hanoi signed a cooperation agreement with the Institute of Tropical Biology (Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology), aiming to conserve marine biodiversity and coordinate in the field of research.
